About the exams!!

Here is a topic about the exams and your impressions about it!
i personnalt think that the language exam today was so difficult and even the comprehension wasn't easy at all :s
anyway i hope luck to all of us and hope maybe the exam was better for you !!

Hey Ahmed, I approve with u the Gramamr exam was difficult, the comprehension was complicated, the text was too long...
The Business translation was great....
When i finished the examen the first day i saw all the faces are unhappy but friday everyone was smiling
Hope the best for the rest of the exams...

I think that all the passed exams are somehow easy except today's exam-Critical Theory- was veeeeeery difficult.I am very dioppointed today.

Hi all!Rahma, never ever let a bad exam disappoint you, cause it can effect on the others, so just forget about it and think of the coming one , and may God be with u About me now I feel an extreme shame, but I will say my word anyway!! The civilization was veeery easy , Ididn't expect such thing, even with the change that happen in the program!Tomorrow is the literature, so hope it goes well the same as in the civ! May God help us all ,amen!

Again,it's a disappointing exam.Today's linguistics was very hard & difficult.I think that there was a mistake about the exam because it was last year's control exam.It was written دورة ثدارك 2006-2007

This our literature exam for today , see it and say what you think of it please! But easy I think ,u agree?

The Flight

We are two eagles
Fliying together,
Under the heavens,
over the mountains,
Stretched on the wind
Sunlight heartens us,
Clouds wheel after us,
Ravelled and thinned.

We are like eagles;
But when death harries us,
Human and humbled
When one of us goes,
Let the other follow-
Let the flight be ended,
Let the fire blacken,
Let the book close.

The s:

What do the two eagles experience together? What must they experience separately?

In the 1st stanza, the eagles are a metaphor. In the 2nd stanza, the eagles become a simile. Does this change in the figure of speech have any significance?

What do the two eagles come to symbolize in this poem?

Our today's literature exam was not very difficult.May God be with all of us inchall & goood luck for those who will sit for the coming oral exams.
In my first & second oral exam I was very afraid & I really do hate oral exams.Don't be afraid & do well,hopfully.

Here is some advices to remember before sitting for the oral exam(founded in a site on the web)

Look and act professional! Create a good impression.
Dress well and appropriately, turn off cell phones and pagers;
Arrive at the location early to collect yourself and check out the situation, but wait until your scheduled time to keep the appointment.
This is a time for relaxed focus, not cramming or review.
The exam begins the minute you walk in:
Introduce yourself immediately
Give the instructor all of your attention; look interested and smile!
Keep good posture and eye contact;

Stay focused through the interview.
Be an intelligent listener as well as talker.
Do not ramble if you do not know an answer.
State directly that you do not know the answer but ask if you could outline how you would find the answer, solve the problem, or the method you would employ.
Maintain your self-confidence and composure
if you feel the interview is not going well. The interviewer may be testing you.
Answer questions with more than "yes" or "no".
Stress the positive and not the negative.
Use two or three key points or examples to demonstrate your knowledge

Hi Olfa,
I do accept every word.But,I think that the stress will focus as a barrier for fullfilling all your above mentioned ideas.
All students are always focusing on how hard the teacher is,he/she does not give good marks & so on & so forth.. .
So,anyone will forget,by experience,what to say!!!!!
But I do hope good luck & I think that the oral exam for the 1st semester will be either lab or listening & probably it will be listening .
I think that listening is better than oral expression or lab.Do u agree with me????
By the way,we really need discussions in this forum:so feel free to express your ideas friends.

I do agree with you, you know? sometimes I hear this:" my instructor was x , I was really lucky"
Sometime this:"my instructor was y , It's a pity", things like that , I don't know what's the difference anyway x or y will put the same note that we deserve !
self confidence is really needed here!

Hey Rahma I do agree with you that our forum need some smells of life
I will do the best to mativate it, you do the same Rahma, cause since you .. the forum live in a quiet
