Hey friends! This our literature exam for today , see it and say what you think of it please! But easy I think ,u agree? The Flight
We are two eagles
Fliying together,
Under the heavens,
over the mountains,
Stretched on the wind
Sunlight heartens us,
Clouds wheel after us,
Ravelled and thinned.
We are like eagles;
But when death harries us,
Human and humbled
When one of us goes,
Let the other follow-
Let the flight be ended,
Let the fire blacken,
Let the book close.
The s: What do the two eagles experience together? What must they experience separately? In the 1st stanza, the eagles are a metaphor. In the 2nd stanza, the eagles become a simile. Does this change in the figure of speech have any significance? What do the two eagles come to symbolize in this poem? By the way, I liked the poem ^^ I finished my exams Hope u work well in the civ and oral exams
