    Today morning, as I opened the radio, I was really choked, I said have we a "3id" today or something???? Suspect
    It was valentine's day ,and tunisians are happy with such occasion and wishing the best regaurds in this "happy day" !!!!!!
    First, this is not an arabic islamic occasion Rolling Eyes
    Two, lovers do not need a specific day to offer flowers and say "I love you" Rolling Eyes am I wrong?
    it's really strange to imitate other's tradition ,in the time that they never imitate us in ours!
    Are we crossing the period of loosing our identity??? pale
    Your comments please, we really need to discuss it Rolling Eyes

    Waoooo, it's valentine day! all are wearing RED the symbol of love and they are holding flower red flowers in their hands.
    Personnaly, i dont need a specific occation or a spacific day to celebrate love. Anyway, we have to respect the tradition of others; well they are celebrating love and they have all the right to do so.
    However, i think it is good that lovers offer flowers in such a day to their sweethearts: lets say a husband surprises his wife by a gentle kiss and a nice flower: it is so romantic and as i know it is not forbidden in islam...
    Finally, i want to say that if they have one day to celebrate love; we muslims celebrate love each day and our history and literature are full of love stories...
    By the way, i wish happy valentine to them and eternal love to us...

    ok what i can say Suspect
    first, valentine is an extra word for us, as in islam all our days are a party so there is not important to say that it is an occasion or not. Neutral
    second, we are not obliged to say that's a specific day to give or offer a gift to some one closer, because the present can not always show our emotions. Rolling Eyes
    finally, i wont to say that i'm very sad Sad as some people now leave there traditions and they keep imitate others and forget that there are limits we can not pass and i think that every one is free and is responsible of his reactions and chocies. Surprised

    why don't we speak about love and enjoy it without giving it aiids,parties or names that are not our design. Many people speak about "valentine", buy flowers when it comes around, but they haven't got and never lived a sense of real love; love that takes heart and mind up to a sublime horizon of giving without cutting your roots from the ground of now and here. A lot of girls and boys sieze this alien appelation to exert their hypocricy upon one another, upon the naive hearts that have just stepped afresh in the walks of life. I would like to say be yourself, let youR heart hem sincere melodies to your beloved ones and give your own coinage to your spiritual celebrations; no need to say valentine. ....we don't like to globolise love till it becomes like a pepsy drink.
