School in Tunisia Empty School in Tunisia

Post by David Nevard Tue Dec 12, 2006 11:37 pm

What is it like to go to school in Tunisia, I'm sure it is probably similar to school in America, but I am curious as to the finer points:
How are most classes taught: mostly lecture, or mostly hands on?
    What are the teachers like?
How hard do you rate the tests?
Do you get alot of homework?
    How big are the classes?
    How big are the schools?

    Things of that nature.

Just to clarify when you say "Faculty" do you mean "Facility"? Faculty would be a staff more specifically it is used when referring to a teaching staff. Facility would be used when referring to a building. Just curious. Smile

Hi David welcome to our forum.I'm gonna answer your questions.I think that our study is a very good one since we learn everything about other civilizations and cultures. Our teachers are very cultivated,generous..As we study in a university we don't have a lot of homework but rather a lot of courses to be revised. We have also courses and tutorials. In the course we study a topic in general and in the tutorial we explain it.Concerning the classrooms they are big...Tests are not so difficult nor easy.
I hope i've answered your questions.Waiting for other ones.

    :lol!: have a nice day:afro:
